The Ghost Town of Belchite | Spain (by David Martin Castán)
Between August 24 and September 7, 1937, loyalist Spanish Republican and rebel General Franco’s forces in the Spanish Civil War fought the Battle of Belchite in and around the town. After 1939 a new village of Belchite was built adjacent to the ruins of the old, which remain a ghost town as a memorial to the war.

I do dig my bike, I even went grocery shopping with it the other day. I think it’s Awesome when everyone has to deal with my sweaty face and my loud singing while picking out the right apples. I sing loud because I don’t turn the volume down on my music after I get inside the store, and I’m sweaty cause I live down a hill and have to fight rigger traffic. Then I have to be less adventures after the sopping because I don’t want any of my veggies to bruise.
Job complete! Cruiser convertible (Tomada con Instagram)
I had so much fun doing this, I can’t believe it. I cut the roof off this tiny little ford with a grinder and sander. We cruised around for hours in the evening, it felt perfect!! I don’t care how awful it looks, it’s awesome. These are the kinds of things that hope I get to keep experiencing.Lincoln Harrison photographed star trails over the Australian outback!
